This “Korenwijn” is distilled only from malt wine, which is made from wheat, barley malt, rye malt and smoke (barley) malt. All this flavoured with juniper distillate, Dutch cheese herbs such as Fenugreek and cumin and matured short on wood.
This has been distilled four times.
Korenwijn is a drink in which centuries-old distilling tradition can be found in the taste. All ingredients can be tasted in this fragrant and warming drink. This is the gin as it was drunk centuries ago. Traditional with a.o. cumin and fenugreek, the herbs that also is added to Dutch cheese.
